Time To Celebrate

I started Mommy Guide Inc as a passion project after finishing my MBA back in 2009.  I prepared for it by buying the gears, – the camera, the scanner, computer, etc for it.  However, I didn’t even have a Facebook account nor any social media presence at that time.  On top of that I didn’t even know how to make content, edit photos or videos.  In short, I wasn’t simply ready.  

During the last quarter of 2019, after having set up my tutorial center and handmade artisanal products business with my best friend, I took to reviving this channel. After a handful of videos though, I had to stop yet again because of the pandemic.  

In December of 2020, while having a December Daily zoom meeting with my dear Crafty Friends I opened the topic about putting content again on my channel.  Everyone was very supportive of my plans and dreams.  I went on to do research on the platforms, the how-tos and everything in between.

Finally in January 23 of this year, me and my dear crafty friends went live to do my very first livestream. The rest they say is history.

We’ve been doing Crafty Nights since then and along the way we have made changes and additional segments but one thing remains – our love and passion for creating awesome stuff with you all.

I also introduced other segments to my channel, as I am indeed a Mommy Channel.  We have had guests from all over the world talking about stuff that matters and are dear to moms and moms-at-heart.  I thank all of them for the trust and the time that they have shared with all of us.

And last week, I reached the first major milestone in my content creation journey – 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours!

Thus, it’s the perfect reason to celebrate!  Again, many thanks to all of you and I pray that you continue to be with us for many more years to come!
