Dr. Woode was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He obtained his undergraduate degrees in mathematics and computer science at Oakwood University here his in Huntsville. He then pursued and completed medical education at the University of Alabama school of Medicine. His post-graduate education included four years of internship and residency in a combine residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio where he also served as Chief Resident. After completing his residency, Dr. Woode completed his subspecialty training in the management of Diabetes, Endocrinology and metabolism as a fellow at The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center (UTHSC) in Memphis, Tennessee.

Project KiDS

PROJECT: Ki.D.S. (Kids Devoted to Sharing), is a non-profit, non-stock organization devoted to its advocacy in leading children to share and care. It started in 2013 when Visayas was strongly hit by typhoon YOLANDA.

As a family, Phi An’s family started the project by gathering children of families and friends to collect toys to be sent to Tacloban in time for the Christmas season.

For the last 3 years, Gota de Leche, an institution that helps malnourished kids asked for our help to sustain their 10-month program of providing milk and vitamins for over 100 children in Manila.
