PROJECT KiDS

PROJECT: Ki.D.S. (Kids Devoted to Sharing), is a non-profit, non-stock organization devoted to its advocacy in leading children to share and care. It started in 2013 when Visayas was strongly hit by typhoon YOLANDA.

As a family, Phi An’s family started the project by gathering children of families and friends to collect toys to be sent to Tacloban in time for the Christmas season.

For the last 3 years, Gota de Leche, an institution that helps malnourished kids asked for our help to sustain their 10-month program of providing milk and vitamins for over 100 children in Manila.

To date, we continue to provide support to Gota de Leche by providing Milk and other basic needs. Aside from Gota the Projects we have done in the past are the following:

  • 2018 The Give Back Project: Fundraising Event for Levi Little Lion Heart – a premie who needed financial assistance for his operation and hospitalization

  • Gota de Leche : 2 cycles of Milk Drive

  • 2017 Gota de Leche, Milk Drive and Nourishment Project: 200,000 cash and goods

  • Chosen Children Village, Basic Needs: 60,000 worth of basic needs

  • Asha, PWD, supported her projectto finance her medical needs

  • Make a Wish Foundation-International Wish Day Celebration 10Kids Granted

  • 2016: Gota de Leche, Milk Drive: 100 Malnourished and PWD Children 2015: Make a Wish Foundation: Wish Factoree; 30 Wish Grants for Children with Life- Threatening Diseases

  • 2014: Bahay ni Maria Orphanage: Gift Giving and Christmas Party

  • 2013: Toy Drive for Tacloban Kids (Yolanda Typhoon): 30 Cargo Boxes of Toy

Currently, they are on milk drive and vitamins for Gota de leche.  This is a monthly project.  

It has been more than over a year since they have not seen these kids and they miss their hugs and laughter so much.

We’ve been missing them and missing the joy in sharing, but we have not forgotten them. We believe that… 1. Every child deserves proper nourishment to thrive and reach their full potential 2. Every child needs energy to learn, to play and to be an active member of the community 3. Every child deserves love, care and kindness to feel that they matter. It’s their right, and it’s a blessing for us.

Let us continue to support undernourished children and children with disabilities under the care of Gota de Leche by sending in our donations for milk, diapers and vitamins. In this time of pandemic, they still need our support, our love and care.

Just like what Mother Teresa once said, if you can’t feed 100 children, then feed just one. Thank you and God bless! PROJECT:Ki.D.S.
