This Father’s Day, let’s give the special men in our lives something personalized and useful by you! Below are some DIY gifts for Dads this Father’s Day. We have included a step-by-step instruction on how to do it. Feel free to put in your own creative suggestions to the suggested gifts and personalize them further! For those who do not have the time to prepare something special maybe you can find a personalized gift for them.

Tags – You’re It!

No matter how big or small, children’s bags need to have a form of identification so it would not get mixed up with others. Most bags nowadays, come with a “tag” part whether inside or outside of the bag as an answer to this consumer request and concern.

Tags make protecting and finding our luggage and children’s bags much easier and faster. Mixed-ups can be prevented as well!

However, for some parents and children who prefer to have a more “personalized feel” to their own or their children’s bags, they opt to add personalized bag tags!

Mother’s Day is just around the corner.  It’s so near that no matter where you go, you see merchandise being sold for that special lady in everybody’s life – our MOM!

If you are like me, I prefer to make something for my mom rather than buy something that is already out there.  Since I was in elementary school, I remember my siblings and I would always come up with something that we handcrafted for our own mother.

Crafting Mommy

I love arts and crafts!  I started out with crochet, then moved on to knitting, then cross stitch and other crafts soon followed.  But eventually, I just fell head over heels in love with scrapbooking!

In this part of MGI, I will feature different projects on the different crafts that I’ve grown to love over the years.  I will also be having guest “crafters” for some of our future articles.

This summer, I taught my daughter and niece how to do cross stitch and knitting.  They already love scrapbooking so I wanted them to learn more about other crafts!
